Originally from London, England, Nigel has called South Florida home since 1970. A proud U.S. Army Veteran and 1979 Florida Atlantic University graduate, he worked his way through college as a police officer and detective before serving as an Organized Crime Division Agent.
Elected to Bonita Springs City Council in 2022, Nigel brings decades of business leadership, community service, and a deep commitment to the residents of District 5.

Led the revitalization of Downtown Bonita Springs, transforming it into a vibrant community hub.

Secured a $21.5 million grant for Pennsylvania Avenue improvements benefiting all residents.
FEMA Flood Insurance
Successfully negotiated restoration of the 25% FEMA flood insurance discount for Bonita Springs homeowners.
Density Reduction
Negotiated several density-reduction agreements with developers to protect our Bonita Springs small town charm.
New Elementary School
Helped negotiate the redesign of the new Bonita Springs Elementary School to retain Historic Characteristics.
Veterans & Community
Serves as City Council Liaison to the Veterans Advisory Board and Lee County Tourist Development Council.
